ECI updates electoral roll revision in Bengal

In West Bengal, India, the Election Commission is working hard to make sure the list of voters is up-to-date.

They are checking the list to remove the names of people who have passed away.

The commission has given new instructions to the people in charge of the voter list to double-check the information.

They are using three sources to verify the deaths: records from the government, insurance companies, and banks.

So far, they have checked almost all the forms filled by the voters and found that a lot of people on the list are no longer alive.

The final list of voters will be ready by February 14 next year.
