Republic Announces Business Channel, Video App, Language Expansion
Republic Media Network announced plans to grow its news business.
It will soon launch a new business-news service called Republic Business.
The service will use the tagline “Bullish on India.”
Republic also plans to launch a news app made entirely for video.
The app is intended to send content directly to viewers.
Arnab Goswami said this could reduce the role of algorithms in deciding what people see.
The network also plans to enter more language markets.
