Inde Navarrette Cast as Rogue in Marvel's X-Men Reboot
A movie studio called Marvel Studios is making a new movie about the X-Men, a team of superheroes with special powers.
One of those heroes is Rogue, an iconic mutant.
Marvel Studios chose actress Inde Navarrette to play Rogue.
Navarrette is known as the breakout star of a show called Obsession.
The news was announced on August 15 at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige announced the casting in front of the fans there.
Other heroes were cast too, including Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Kit Connor as Cyclops, and Maya Boyd as Storm.
Adam Driver will play the villain of the movie, a powerful mutant named Mister Sinister.
Rogue is also known for her love story with a hero named Gambit.
Inde Navarrette, breakout star of Obsession, has been cast as Rogue in Marvel Studios' upcoming X-Men reboot.
The role was announced at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event on August 15.
