CJP Plans October 10 Delhi Protest If Election Chief Stays
The Cockroach Janta Party says it plans to march to Delhi on October 10 if election chief Gyanesh Kumar does not resign.
The group wants to hold a protest at Jantar Mantar.
Its founder, Abhijeet Dipke, says the protest will be peaceful and inspired by Mahatma Gandhi.
He says that if police stop the march, the protesters will gather where they are stopped.
The announcement came after a large CJP protest in Mumbai on October 2.
The protesters say there have been problems with voter lists and the way they were revised.
The Election Commission says decisions about the revision were made unanimously.
Reports also describe people being detained during related Delhi protests and later released.
