NCLT Clears Record 107 Resolution Plans Worth Rs 11,071 Crore
The National Company Law Tribunal, or NCLT, decides whether plans for resolving struggling companies can be approved.
From July to September 2026, it approved 107 plans worth Rs 11,071 crore.
This was its highest number of approvals in one quarter.
The total was higher than the same quarter a year earlier and above its previous quarterly record.
NCLT approved 185 plans in the first half of the financial year and 1,735 since it was established.
By the end of September, 294 plans were still waiting for approval, and orders in 41 more cases had been reserved.
