Zaheer Khan names Gurnoor Brar as India's most promising pacer
Zaheer Khan is a famous Indian cricket player who used to bowl very fast.
Now he watches young cricketers and shares his opinions about them.
He recently said that Gurnoor Brar is the most exciting new fast bowler in India.
Gurnoor is very tall, which helps him bowl fast and bounce the ball.
He is 26 years old and comes from the state of Punjab.
In June, he was picked for India's Test team even though he had not played many big matches.
He made his one-day international debut against Afghanistan and took 11 wickets in six games.
He also took 10 wickets in a single match while playing for India A against Sri Lanka.
India needs new fast bowlers to help the main players Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj.
Zaheer Khan, the India pace legend, named 26-year-old Punjab pacer Gurnoor Brar as the most promising seamer among India's young fast-bowling options.
Brar, who stands 6-foot-5-inches tall, was picked for the Test squad in June despite limited First-Class and IPL experience.
He made his ODI debut against Afghanistan and has taken 11 wickets in six matches.
Brar featured in India A's tour to Sri Lanka last month, taking a 10-wicket haul in the first match at Galle.
India has been testing a young crop of fast bowlers over the last two years to find backups for Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj.
