Madanapalle to Become New District
Madanapalle is going to be a new district starting from January 1, 2026.
The government is working hard to find buildings for all the offices that need to move there.

There is also a concern about Rompicherla mandal being under Chittoor revenue division instead of Piler.
The first big event in the new district will be the Republic Day celebrations at BT College Ground.
Madanapalle will become a new district headquarters on January 1, 2026.
The new district includes Madanapalle, Thamballapalle, Piler, and Punganur assembly constituencies.
