Matt Rife and Elton Castee Become Annabelle's Legal Guardians
Matt Rife and Elton Castee, are now in charge of taking care of the Annabelle doll and the museum it's in, previously owned by ghost hunters Ed and Lorraine Warren.
They don't own the doll or artifacts, but they're responsible for keeping them safe.
Think of it like they are in charge of the doll as if it was a job of custodian.
The real owners are Judy and Tony Spera.
Other groups such as museums and the government also use caretakers or custodians.
Comedian Matt Rife and YouTuber Elton Castee are now legal guardians of the Annabelle doll.
The duo purchased the home and museum of Ed and Lorraine Warren in Monroe, Connecticut.
The Annabelle doll was part of the Warrens' collection of around 750 haunted artifacts.
The artifacts are owned by Tony Spera and Judy Spera, not Rife and Castee.
