House Panel Subpoenas Wexner Over Epstein Ties
A group in the U.S. Congress called the House Oversight Committee has decided to ask a very rich man named Leslie Wexner to come and talk to them.
They want to ask him about his friendship with another man named Jeffrey Epstein, who was a financier and is known for doing bad things.
The committee wants to understand more about their relationship.
Wexner used to be the boss of a company called L Brands, which owns Victoria's Secret.
The committee is also asking for information from the people who are in charge of Epstein's things after he died.
The U.S. government has a lot of files about Epstein that they are still looking through.
President Trump used to be friends with Epstein but said they had a fight a long time before Epstein died in jail.
The House Oversight Committee approved subpoenas for billionaire Leslie Wexner and the executors of Jeffrey Epstein's estate.
Wexner, the former CEO of L Brands, is being investigated for his ties with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The subpoenas were approved on Wednesday, January 7, 2024, with bipartisan support.
