Home Ministry's Republic Day Tableau Highlights New Criminal Laws
On Republic Day, the Home Ministry showed a special display called a tableau at the parade.
This display talked about three new laws that India has made.
These laws are called the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam.
They replace very old laws from the British time.
The new laws are designed to make the justice system faster, more tech-friendly, and easier for people to understand.
The display also showed new systems like e-Sakshya and e-Summons that help in this modern justice system.
The Home Minister, Amit Shah, said that these changes show India's move towards a justice-focused system instead of just punishing people.
The Home Ministry's tableau at the Republic Day Parade showcased three new criminal laws: BNS, BNSS, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam.
These laws replace the colonial-era IPC, CrPC, and Indian Evidence Act, marking a significant overhaul of India's criminal justice system.
The tableau highlighted the transition to a faster, tech-driven, and citizen-centric justice system.
New systems like e-Sakshya, e-Summons, Nyaya Shruti, NAFIS, and ICJS were showcased as part of the modern justice framework.
The multilingual representation of the new law books emphasizes accessibility, inclusiveness, and transparency for all citizens.
