IMC Commissioner Orders Quality Checks on Road Works
The IMC Commissioner in Indore had a meeting to talk about the roads being built in the city.
He was not happy with how slow the work was going and told the construction companies to hire engineers to make sure the roads are built well.
He also checked some roads and told the workers to finish their jobs faster.
He also looked at a special bus route and told them to remove any leftover structures quickly.
The commissioner wants all the roads to be finished on time and to a high standard.
IMC Commissioner Kshitij Singhal directed construction agencies to appoint engineers through consultants to ensure quality in road construction projects.
Singhal expressed dissatisfaction over the slow pace of work on the city’s master plan roads during a high-level review meeting on January 16.
He reprimanded the agencies and issued strict instructions to expedite the projects to avoid inconvenience to citizens.
