Tejas Networks Shares Plunge 12% After Q3 Loss
Tejas Networks, a company that makes telecom equipment, had a really bad quarter.
They lost a lot of money, about Rs 196 crore, because they didn't sell as much as they expected.
A big reason was that a large order from a company called BSNL was delayed.
Because of this, their stock price dropped by more than 12%.
Even though things look bad now, they have some money saved and have won new orders for 5G networks, which might help them in the future.
Tejas Networks reported a Rs 196.55 crore loss in Q3, its second consecutive quarterly loss.
Revenue dropped by 88% to Rs 306.79 crore due to delayed BSNL orders worth Rs 1,526 crore.
The company's stock fell over 12% to a 52-week low of Rs 364.25.
Tejas Networks has cash reserves of Rs 537 crore and has won new 5G orders.
The company received Rs 84.95 crore under the government's PLI scheme during the quarter.
