Heritage Walk Marks Malik Ambar’s 400th Death Anniversary

A heritage walk was held in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to remember Malik Ambar.

The event marked 400 years since his death.

Malik Ambar helped develop the old city of Khadki.

He also created the Nahar-e-Ambari water system.

This system helped bring water to the city and supported its planned growth.

People learned about old buildings, water systems and the Mahmudpura area.

They visited a mausoleum, a temple and a building called the Baradari.

Organisers said it is important to protect both famous and lesser-known heritage sites.
