Premier Padel Sets Up Committees to Bolster Padel's Growth
Premier Padel, a professional padel tour, is creating special groups called Steering Committees to make the sport better.
These groups include players, organizers, and other important people.
They will meet to discuss the schedule, rules, and how to make the sport better.
Players will have a say, as some spots on the committees are for them.
This helps make sure everyone's voice is heard, and the sport continues to grow around the world.
The goal is to make sure that padel is run well and stays popular, with lots of players and fans.
Premier Padel, with FIP governance, established Steering Committees for men's and women's tours.
Committees comprise top 150 players, organizers, partners, and FIP members.
The committees will meet twice yearly, advising on calendar, standards, athlete well-being, and engagement.
About 25% of the seats are reserved for active players, who will choose their representatives.
The move reflects global expansion and aims for strong governance.
