BJP Accuses TMC MP of Vaping in Parliament
The BJP has accused a TMC MP named Kirti Azad of vaping inside the Parliament.
A video shared by BJP's Amit Malviya on X shows Azad hiding an object in his hand and bringing it to his mouth.
The BJP says this is against the rules and has asked for an explanation from TMC's leader, Mamata Banerjee.
Earlier, another TMC MP was caught smoking near Parliament.
The Parliament's speaker, Om Birla, has confirmed that smoking is not allowed inside the Parliament.
The TMC MPs argue that the focus should be on more serious issues like air pollution in Delhi.
The government has also clarified that e-cigarettes are completely banned in India and no cases of drug-laced vapes have been investigated by the NCB.
