Tripura Launches Action Plan to Protect Endangered Gibbons

Tripura Launches Action Plan to Protect Endangered Gibbons

Imagine India has a special ape, the Western Hoolock Gibbon, and they are in danger.

The Tripura government is creating a plan to save them!

These apes live in forests, but their homes are shrinking.

The plan includes keeping track of how many there are, fixing their homes, teaching people how to help, and making sure the community understands the importance of these apes.

It also involves making sure the gibbons can move around the forest safely.

They are also working to reduce conflicts between humans and apes.

The goal is to protect the last of these special apes in India.
