Texmaco Completes Critical Systems for 2000 MW Subansiri Project
Texmaco Rail & Engineering has finished building important parts for a huge hydroelectric power project called the Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project.
This project is located on the border of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and can produce 2000 MW of electricity, which is a lot!
The project is owned by NHPC, and the first part of it is already working, with more parts expected to be ready by 2026-27.
Texmaco is proud to be part of this project, which helps India use more clean energy and less fossil fuel.
The company is also part of a bigger group called the Adventz Group and works on many other things like trains and electrical infrastructure.
Even though the company is doing well with big projects, its stock price has been going down recently.
Texmaco Rail & Engineering completed Hydro-Mechanical (HM) systems for the 2000 MW Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project.
The project, located at the Arunachal Pradesh–Assam border, is one of India's largest renewable energy projects.
NHPC, the project developer, has announced the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the first unit, with remaining units to be commissioned by FY 2026-27.
Texmaco was responsible for the complete design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the HM systems.
Despite its project successes, Texmaco's share price has declined 6.22% year-to-date.
