Health Ministry Launches Health Initiatives at India International Trade Fair
The government's Health Ministry has set up a special area at a big trade show in New Delhi called the Health Pavilion.
At this pavilion, people can get free tests to see if they have anemia, which is a condition where the body doesn't have enough healthy red blood cells.
They are also teaching people how to do CPR, which is an emergency technique to help someone whose heart has stopped.
The pavilion is open for a couple of weeks.
The Health Secretary wants everyone to visit and learn about these important health services.
They are also talking about other big health plans the government has, like helping women and young people stay healthy, and fighting diseases like TB.
The main idea is to show how the country is working to make everyone healthier and stronger.
The Health Ministry launched anaemia testing camps and CPR awareness sessions at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) in New Delhi.
These services are available to the public at the Health Pavilion from November 14 until the fair concludes on November 27.
Union Health Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava inaugurated the pavilion, emphasizing its role in showcasing India's health system and programmes.
The pavilion theme is 'Swast Bharat, Shresth Bharat,' highlighting the Ministry's role in health policy and comprehensive healthcare.
Other initiatives discussed include the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan, TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, and organ donation campaigns.
