Telangana Plans 25 Wellness Centres, More Hospital Scanners
The Telangana government plans to open 25 more wellness centres.
This will bring the total number of centres to 37.
These centres will help government employees, pensioners and their families receive checkups, tests and medicines.
The Employees Health Scheme currently covers 17 lakh people.
Patients can also receive inpatient care at government and private hospitals.
The government plans to add nine MRI machines and eight CT scan machines to public hospitals.
It is also buying 485 more ventilators.
These steps are intended to expand medical services and make healthcare easier to access.

Twenty-one centres will be located in districts, while four will serve high-footfall areas in Hyderabad and Medchal-Malkajgiri.
