Pune Land Deal: Parth Pawar Not Probed, Others Guilty of Stamp Duty Evasion
In Pune's Mundhwa land deal, a committee found that Parth Pawar, son of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, was not probed.
Instead, three others - Digvijay Patil, Sheetal Tejwani, and sub-registrar Ravindra Taru - were found guilty of evading stamp duty.
The land, worth Rs 294 crore, was registered for just Rs 500 in stamp duty.
The sub-registrar used a loophole to register the land as moveable property, bypassing verification procedures.
