Viral Warning Highlights Canada's Student Exploitation and Jobs Crisis
Imagine a popular place where many students go to study and hope for a good future.
Recently, someone who talks about news has warned that this place is not as good as it seems for students from India.
Many students are going there because they think it will help them get jobs and stay there forever.
But now, there aren't enough homes or jobs for everyone, making life very hard.
Some young women are even being tricked into dangerous situations.
The warning suggests that instead of going far away for a dream that might not come true, students should look for good schools in their own country first.
YouTuber Kushal Mehra warns Indian families against sending students to Canada through dubious channels.
The number of Indian students in Canada has reached 90,000, with many lured by immigration promises.
Canada is experiencing a migration crisis with housing shortages, job scarcity, and stretched public services.
Concerns are raised about human trafficking, with an estimated 4,000 Indian-origin girls in Toronto's sex trade.
Mehra advises Indian families to consider reputable universities in India rather than pursuing a potentially detrimental path in Canada.

Mehra's Warning
Motion M44, allowing full-time work for international students, led to an unmanageable influx, straining Canada's resources.
Implied Promise of Canada
The policy was intended to ease labor shortages, indicating a need for better management rather than a flawed premise.
Safety and Exploitation

Lax visa checks allow individuals with criminal records to enter, contributing to exploitation, particularly of young women in sex trafficking.

While exploitation is a concern, the primary focus of Mehra's warning is the broader economic and social pressures students face.
