Bhopal Central Vista: 10 Modern Towers Planned
In Bhopal, India, the government is planning to build 10 new towers to replace two old buildings called Satpura Bhawan and Vindhyanchal Bhawan.
These buildings are very old and need to be replaced.
The new towers will be built in four phases and will take about 3 to 5 years to complete.
The towers will be eco-friendly, with lots of sunlight and fresh air.
The government will also lease some space to banks.
The total cost of the project is expected to be over Rs 1,000 crore.
The plan does not include a helipad on the roof anymore.
The government decided to do this after a big fire in Satpura Bhawan in June 2023.
Madhya Pradesh Housing Board plans to construct 10 modern towers in Bhopal to replace Satpura Bhawan and Vindhyanchal Bhawan.
The project is in the master plan stage, with the Detailed Project Report (DPR) being prepared.
Construction will be done in four phases, with towers of six to seven floors each.
The estimated cost is Rs 1,000 crore or more, with an execution period of 3 to 5 years.
The new buildings will follow green building norms, with green ratings and reduced ground coverage for more green spaces.
