Gujarat CM Leads Grievance Redressal Event Thursday
Imagine a special meeting where people in Gujarat can tell the Chief Minister their problems.
This meeting is called SWAGAT and happens every month.
People can share their issues online or in person.
The Chief Minister, Mr. Patel, listens to some of the problems and helps find solutions.
This program started many years ago to make sure the government listens to the people and fixes their problems quickly.
Many issues are resolved at different levels, like at the village, town, or district levels.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will lead the monthly SWAGAT program on Thursday.
SWAGAT is a platform for citizens to directly present grievances to state leadership.
The program, started in 2003, uses digital technology for real-time hearing and resolution of complaints.
Citizens can submit issues online or in person at the Chief Minister's Public Relations Office.
The program aims to reinforce responsive governance and address public issues.
