Telangana Cabinet Clears Two Pending DA Instalments for Beneficiaries
The Telangana government has approved two delayed payments for government workers and pensioners.
These payments are called Dearness Allowance, or DA.
The people receiving them had been waiting since 2024.
The decision was made by the state Cabinet.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy led the meeting.
The meeting took place at the Secretariat on Thursday.
Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy announced the expected cost.
The payments will increase Telangana’s yearly expenses by about Rs 2,500 crore.
