Gehlot Reflects on Dotasra’s Rise and Generational Shift in Rajasthan Congress
Ashok Gehlot, a former top leader, talked about how the current head of the Congress party in Rajasthan, Govind Singh Dotasra, got his job.
Gehlot said it was because of a fight within the party in 2020, when Sachin Pilot caused a stir.
He also mentioned how important it was to have support from the top leaders of the party.
Gehlot hinted that it might be time for younger leaders to take over.
He also pointed out that the current leader has been in the role for longer than the party usually allows, and he brought up historical examples of leaders who stayed in power for a long time.
Ashok Gehlot attributed Govind Singh Dotasra's position to Sachin Pilot's 2020 revolt.
