CJP Criticizes Centre’s Anti‑Paper Leak Law
Ashutosh Ranka, a politician from the Cockroach Janta Party, said the new law that stops exam paper leaks only punishes people after a leak happens.
He thinks the law should also stop leaks from happening in the first place.
He wants the government to change how exams are run, like making the exam agency a law‑made body and making exam schedules clear.
He also wants to watch over coaching centres and companies that help with exams so they don’t cheat.
Ranka says the government should talk to students, teachers, and computer experts before making more rules.
He worries that if the rules are not right, children’s futures could be hurt.
Ashutosh Ranka criticized the Centre’s amended anti‑paper leak law for lacking preventive measures.
He said the bill focuses on post‑leak punishments such as fast‑track courts and harsher penalties.
Ranka called for reforms including NTA reforms, making the SSC a statutory body, and greater exam transparency.
He urged regulation of coaching centres, monitoring of vendors, and blocking blacklisted vendors from re‑entering the system.
Ranka urged a consultative approach with students, academicians, and cyber experts before further changes.
