NIA Extends Custody of Red Fort Blast Accused
There was a big explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi on November 10 that killed 15 people and hurt many others.
The police, called the NIA, are investigating and have arrested several people.
One of them is Soyab, who is accused of helping another man named Umar Mohammad.
Umar is believed to have made the bomb.
Soyab worked as a lab assistant and helped Umar get chemicals and a place to stay.
The NIA has extended Soyab's custody for 10 more days to ask him more questions.
They are also looking into a terror group called Jaish-e-Mohammed and conducting raids to find more information about the weapons used in the attack.
A Delhi court extended the NIA custody of accused Soyab by 10 days in the Red Fort blast case.
Soyab is accused of sheltering key conspirator Dr Umar Mohammad and providing logistical support for the blast.
The November 10 blast near Red Fort killed 15 people and injured over two dozen, linked to a 'white-collar' terror network with ties to Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Soyab worked as a lab assistant at Al-Falah University and helped Umar procure chemicals and arrange accommodation.
Ongoing investigations reveal Umar maintained a 'mobile workstation' for bomb-making and conducted chemical tests on campus, with raids conducted in Jammu and Kashmir to trace the weapons supply network.
