Thane Police Restricts Heavy Vehicles to Ease Congestion
The Thane Traffic Police is trying to make traffic move more smoothly in Thane.
To do this, they are stopping large trucks and buses from driving on some roads during busy times of the day, from September 20 to October 2.
This is because the roads have been getting very crowded, especially on Ghodbunder Road and Kalyan-Shil Road.
The restrictions are in place during the morning and evening rush hours.
Heavy vehicles are allowed to travel during other hours to ensure goods deliveries, but need to plan routes carefully.
Commuters are encouraged to find alternative ways to get around to avoid delays.
