Putin Says BRICS Now Accounts for 40% of Global GDP

BRICS is a group of countries that work together on economic matters.

Vladimir Putin said these countries now produce about 40% of the world’s total economic output.

He spoke at a business meeting connected to the BRICS Summit in New Delhi.

Putin said businesses in BRICS countries should trade more with one another.

He believes these partnerships can make countries stronger during uncertain times.

Putin also said Russia’s growth shows that BRICS is becoming more important.

He said BRICS wants to protect its own interests rather than act against other countries.

Putin criticized Western sanctions on Russia.

He also accused Western countries of trying to damage Russia’s trade routes, infrastructure, and pipelines.
