New Zealand Issues New Visa Rules for Indian Nationals
New Zealand is changing the rules for Indian citizens who want to visit.
If you're from India and need a visa, you'll soon have to get a special police check, called a Police Clearance Certificate.
Starting December 1, 2025, the certificate must come from a specific government office in India, the Regional Passport Office.
This change is to make sure the certificates are all in the same format and easy to check.
If you apply for a visa, you might need this certificate to prove you're a good person.
Make sure your certificate is less than six months old when you apply.
Also, remember that you might need to get your fingerprints taken to get the certificate.
New Zealand is changing its visa requirements for Indian nationals.
Applicants must provide a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC).
From December 1, 2025, only PCCs from the Regional Passport Office will be accepted.
This change aims to standardize and authenticate PCCs.
PCCs are needed for visitor, student, and work visas.
