Renault Nissan India Launches Project Malar for Women's Empowerment
Project Malar is a program by Renault Nissan to help women in India.
They are training 20 women to become self-sufficient.
These women will learn how to drive, manage money, and work with customers.
After training, each woman gets an electric auto-rickshaw (a small vehicle).
They will also get help with managing their money and earning at least 16,000 rupees per month for the first 18 months.
The goal is to help them become independent and reduce pollution by using electric vehicles.
RNTBCI launched Project Malar to empower women through mobility and sustainability.
The initiative will support 20 women in Chennai and Chengalpattu.
Participants will receive training in driving, finance, and customer service.
Each woman will be provided with an electric auto-rickshaw upon completing the program.
