DCC Leaders Hold Hunger Strike
In Khammam, leaders from the District Congress Committee (DCC) held a day-long hunger strike on Saturday.
This was part of a bigger campaign called 'Chhatron Ki Goonj,' started by Rahul Gandhi to talk about problems students and young people are facing.
These problems include exam papers being leaked, not enough jobs, and trouble getting an education.
The leader of the protest, Nuthi Satyanarayana Goud, said the central government is not doing enough to help students.
He mentioned that exam leaks, like the one in NEET, are causing a lot of stress.
The hunger strike ended in the afternoon when other leaders gave him lemon juice.
Many other Congress leaders and supporters joined the protest to show their support.
DCC organized a day-long hunger strike as part of the 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' campaign.
The campaign highlights issues like examination paper leaks, unemployment, and access to education.
The protest was led by DCC president Nuthi Satyanarayana Goud.
Goud accused the BJP-led Central government of neglecting student concerns and failing to uphold constitutional values.
The hunger strike concluded at 4 pm with other leaders offering lemon juice to Goud.
