Abdullah Dismisses BJP Protest, Says Central Interference Led to Resignation

A leader named Omar Abdullah is the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, a region in India.

Some people from a political party called the BJP held a protest in a city called Jammu.

Abdullah said the protest was fine because people can disagree.

He thinks the central government should not control things like schools and hospitals.

He says those should be decided by each state.

He talked about a big medical exam called NEET.

Because the central government runs NEET, a minister named Dharmendra Pradhan had to resign after a problem.

Abdullah said if states ran the exam, the state minister would be responsible instead.

He also said many governments over the years made states weaker, not just the current one.

He wants states to have more power.
