Hyderabad Students Urge JNTUH Action on Tuition Fee Shortfall
Some students in Hyderabad go to a big engineering college called JNTUH.
The government runs a program called ePASS that promises to pay their full school fees.
But the students are only receiving part of the money — around ₹30,000 to ₹40,000.
So they have to pay the rest of the fees themselves.
These students come from the BC, SC, and ST communities and are supposed to get 100 percent of their fees paid.
They asked the college principal to help them get the full amount.

Now the students want the college to form a special committee to look into why the money is short.

Student leaders submitted a representation to the Principal of JNTUH University College of Engineering Hyderabad on Friday.
The demand covers BC community students with TS Eapcet ranks below 10,000 and SC and ST students eligible for reimbursement regardless of rank.
The issue has remained unresolved for several years despite repeated representations to the college administration, district collectorate, and ePASS office at Masab Tank.
Students have urged the college to form a committee of senior officials to identify the reasons for the shortfall and pursue full reimbursement from the state government.
