Potential Hardik Pandya IPL trade could reshape tournament

Hardik Pandya is a star cricket player in the Indian Premier League, a big cricket competition.

He is very special because he can bat, bowl, and lead his team all by himself.

His team, the Mumbai Indians, did not play well this season, so other teams want to take him.

In cricket trading, teams swap players with each other, like trading cards.

The Chennai Super Kings and the Kolkata Knight Riders are very interested in him.

The Mumbai Indians want to make sure they get great players back if they let him go.

Even though Pandya has not scored as many runs lately, he still helps his team with bowling and leadership.

Kolkata paid a huge amount of money for another player, Cameron Green, who could be part of the swap.

The teams are still talking, so nobody knows yet whether Pandya will stay with Mumbai or join a new team.
