Gen Z Turns 'Cockroach' Insult Into a Viral Protest Movement

Gen Z Turns 'Cockroach' Insult Into a Viral Protest Movement

A very important judge in India once called young people who could not find jobs 'cockroaches.'

Instead of feeling sad, young people turned the insult into a funny joke.

They made a pretend political party called the Cockroach Janta Party and shared lots of memes and funny videos online.

On July 18, they gathered at a famous spot in New Delhi to protest.

Very quickly, protests spread to more than 150 cities.

They were upset about cheating in big school exams, including the NEET 2026 paper leak.

The police used tear gas and sticks on them, and some protesters were hurt.

Even so, the young people kept their sense of humor and stayed organized.

They brought water and food, cleaned up the protest site, and even sang the national anthem.

It showed how this generation likes to speak up using jokes, the internet, and kindness.
