NIA Files Chargesheet in Pahalgam Terror Attack Case
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet in the Pahalgam terror attack case, which happened on April 22, 2025, and resulted in the deaths of 26 people, mostly tourists.
The NIA has identified three terrorists affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) who were involved in the attack and were killed in 'Operation Mahadev'.
Two individuals, Parvaiz Ahmad Jothar and Bashir Ahmad Jothar, were arrested for providing support to the terrorists.
The Indian armed forces carried out precision strikes on terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and PoK in 'Operation Sindoor'.
The chargesheet was presented before a Special NIA Court in Jammu on December 15, 2025.
The family of one of the victims, Shubham Dwivedi, has praised the NIA's swift action and demanded stricter measures against terrorists, including a boycott of Pakistan.
