PM Modi to Rally in Singur
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to Singur in West Bengal on January 18.
This is almost 20 years after Tata Motors closed their Nano factory there.
The BJP says the rally is to talk about how the TMC government hasn't helped industries grow.
They also say the state has a lot of debt and not many projects from big business meetings have started.
Singur is important because protests there long ago helped change West Bengal's politics.
The BJP wants to show how they would help industries if they were in charge.
PM Modi to address a public rally in Singur on January 18, focusing on industrialisation and TMC's alleged failures.
BJP claims West Bengal's debt has risen to Rs 7.71 lakh crore, with per capita debt increasing significantly.
Only 3% of Bengal Global Business Summit proposals have been implemented, according to BJP.
Singur's protests in 2006 played a pivotal role in ending the Left Front's 34-year rule and bringing TMC to power.
PM Modi's visit is seen as a strategic move to highlight BJP's vision for reviving Bengal's industries.
