Decline in Manipur Violence, Rise in Drug Seizures Under President's Rule
Since President's rule began in Manipur, things have become much safer.
There are fewer deaths and injuries, and the police are catching more people with drugs.
They're also finding more of the weapons that were taken.
While things are improving, there are still problems like extortion and some dangerous groups that the police are watching out for.
Manipur has seen a significant decrease in violence since President's rule began in February.
Drug seizures have increased, with 84 arrests made under the NDPS Act during the period.
Security forces have recovered 2,390 weapons and dismantled 63 illegal bunkers.
Arrests related to extortion continue, with 336 people apprehended in the last four months.
Experts are concerned about the resurgence of banned terror groups.
