Night Travel Ban for Heavy Vehicles on ASR Ghat Road
The police in Visakhapatnam have said that big trucks and buses cannot drive on the hilly roads at night.
This is because it's very foggy and hard to see, which makes driving dangerous.
Two accidents have already happened because of the fog.
The police want all drivers to be extra careful and drive slowly.
They are also planning to make the roads safer by building stronger walls.
People can call the police if they need more information.
ASR District Police have banned heavy vehicles from traveling on ghat roads from 10 PM to 5 AM.
The ban is due to dense fog and poor visibility during winter, which increases the risk of accidents.
Two recent accidents on the ghat roads have been attributed to foggy conditions.
Violators of the ban will face legal action, and other drivers are urged to drive carefully.
The district administration is planning to improve road conditions with Gabion structures for retaining walls.
