Tesla Reassigns Engineers After Shutting Down Dojo AI Project
Tesla, the car company, has stopped working on its special AI computer project called Dojo.
This means some engineers needed to find new jobs inside Tesla.
Some engineers are now working with the person in charge of self-driving cars and robots.
Others are working on chips and hardware, while still others focus on software security.
The leader of the Dojo project has left Tesla, but many of his former team members are now working at a new AI company called DensityAI, founded by Ganesh Venkataramanan, another former Tesla employee.
DensityAI is working on new AI technologies and has already hired a large group of former Tesla engineers.
