Congress ramps up Bihar Panchayat election preparations with grassroots focus
The Congress party in Bihar is getting ready for village council elections, called Panchayat elections.
Two important Congress leaders came to the city of Bhagalpur to help plan.
Their names are Krishna Allavaru and Rajesh Ram.
They held a training camp for new block presidents of the party.
Block presidents help the party work in local areas.
Leaders from eight nearby districts came to the training.
The leaders said the party wants more workers and members in the villages.
They want to take the party's ideas and plans to every village.
The camp began by remembering a former party leader named Pravin Singh Kushwaha.
The goal is to make the party stronger in villages before the elections.
