Jobat CMO Promises Bridge Encroachment Removal After August 15

Jobat CMO Promises Bridge Encroachment Removal After August 15

In the town of Jobat in India, there is a bridge that was rebuilt last year.

Little shops set up their stalls on the walking path of the bridge.

This makes the path crowded and unsafe, especially for children who walk to school.

Many schools and other buildings, like a girls' hostel and a police station, are near the bridge.

The people in charge of the town are worried that an accident could happen.

They have been collecting fines from the shop owners, but the shops are still there.

A school principal asked the town council to take stronger action.

The town's chief officer promised that all the shops will be removed after August 15.

She said safety will not be risked for anyone.
