Punjab SIR: Voters Have Until September 12 to File Claims
Punjab is checking its list of registered voters through a process called a Special Intensive Revision.
People should check whether their names and details are correct in the draft list.
They have until September 12 to report mistakes or raise objections.
The final voter list is expected on October 12.
Young people who will be at least 18 by October 1, 2026, can apply to become voters.
They should use Form-6 for new registration.
Eligible overseas Indian citizens can use Form-6A.
