Telangana BJP Chief Blames Government for Water and Power Crisis

N Ramachander Rao said Telangana is facing serious water and electricity problems.

He blamed the state government for not managing resources properly.

Farmers told him they were getting only about five hours of electricity.

The government has claimed that it supplies power for 12 to 15 hours.

Rao said the shortage is damaging crops that depend on borewells.

He also said village families are suffering from heat and mosquitoes because fans cannot run.

He asked for water to be released from two upstream reservoirs.

He criticized both the Congress and BRS for their handling of water and crop insurance issues.

The state government’s stated explanation for the power shortage was a lack of coal.
