Sikkim Krantikari Morcha Sends Aid to Flood-Hit Nepal

Severe floods have affected many people in Nepal.

Sikkim’s ruling party sent a team to help them.

Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang started the team’s journey from Gangtok.

The 35 people are carrying food, clothes and medicines.

Five doctors are part of the group.

Volunteers may also help with rescues.

The team will check how much damage the floods caused.

Nepal says 903 people have died and 4,247 are missing.

Scientists said a huge ice-and-rock avalanche may have caused the floods instead of ordinary rainfall.
