Tagore Calendar Features Rare Photos
A new wall calendar has been published featuring rare photographs of Rabindranath Tagore and the famous people he knew.
The calendar is called 'Rabindranath and his contemporaries' and was made to celebrate Tagore's 165th birthday.
Minakshi Sinha, an 84-year-old retired teacher, helped research the photos.
Agniva Chakraborty, a software engineer, designed the calendar.
The photos show Tagore with famous people like George Bernard Shaw and Lady Ranu Mukherjee.
Some photos were not included because they were not found with Tagore.
The calendar is now available to buy online and in bookstores.
Sinha's favorite photo is of Tagore with Lady Ranu Mukherjee, and Agniva's favorite is of Tagore with Victoria Ocampo, who gave Tagore a special chair.
