Vedanta Shares Hit Record Highs
Vedanta's shares have been going up a lot recently, reaching new highs.
They've gone up 19% in just a month and 136% in two years.
Some people who study the stock market think it's a good time to buy Vedanta shares because of things like higher metal prices and a recent approval for the company to split into smaller companies.
But the stock is also in what's called an 'overbought' zone, which means it might be a bit too high right now.
Different experts have different ideas about how high the price could go, with some saying it could reach Rs 650 or even Rs 686.
The company's market value is now Rs 2.43 lakh crore, and it's expected to have less debt in the future.
Vedanta shares hit record high of Rs 629.90, up 19% in a month and 136% in two years.
Stock in overbought zone with RSI of 78.6, trading above all key moving averages.
Kotak Securities maintains 'Buy' rating with target price of Rs 650, citing NCLT approval for demerger and buoyant commodity prices.
Investec and Nuvama also have 'Buy' ratings with target prices of Rs 635 and Rs 686 respectively, expecting debt reduction and EBITDA growth.
Market cap reaches Rs 2.43 lakh crore with turnover of Rs 4.66 crore in recent trading.
