Kerala Student Missing After Note Says 'Going To Kashi'
A teenage boy in Kerala has gone missing.
His name is Shiva Surya and he is a Class 12 student.
He loved playing online games and had lost money while playing them.
His father, A Jigeesh, took away his mobile phone.
Soon after that, Shiva Surya disappeared from his home.
His family found a note on his study table.
The note said he was going to Kashi and would spend the rest of his life there, merging with God.
His family filed a complaint with the police, who are searching for him.
Relatives and neighbours joined the search too.
No one knows for sure if he really went to Kashi, and everyone hopes he is found safe.
Shiva Surya, a Class 12 student of Ramavilasam Higher Secondary School at Chokli in Kerala's Kannur district, has been missing since Saturday afternoon.
His father, A Jigeesh, took away his mobile phone because the teenager had developed an online gaming habit and had lost money through gaming.
A note found on his study table reportedly said: "I am going to Kashi. I will spend the rest of my life there and merge with God."
The family, residents of Kariyad Puliyanambram, filed a complaint with the Chokli Police, who have intensified the search with relatives and neighbours joining in.
There is no confirmation yet that Shiva Surya travelled to Kashi; BJP Kannur district president Biju Elakkuzhi, who visited the family, urged police to trace him at the earliest.
