Epack Durables Sues Gangnam Steel
Epack Durables, a company that makes things like air coolers, is suing Gangnam Steel Retail because they say Gangnam didn't pay them Rs 19.61 crore for goods they supplied.
Epack's board decided to take legal action.
They also plan to move their air cooler production to a new factory in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, because their current factory is too small.
The new factory won't make more products, just move the existing production lines.
Epack's stock has gone up a bit recently, but it's still down a lot this year.
Epack Durables filed a legal complaint against Gangnam Steel Retail for non-payment of Rs 19.61 crore.
The complaint was filed with the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Economic Offences Wing (EOW), New Delhi.
Epack alleges financial misrepresentation and non-payment by Gangnam for supplied goods.
Epack's board approved the legal action on December 23 and also approved a new manufacturing unit in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.
The new facility will handle air cooler production, relocating existing lines from the current Bhiwadi plant.
